Pakistan's COVID-19 response an example for world: US economist
Larry Summers said US would have saved $ 10 trillion had it handled pandemic as well as Pakistan.
WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - Larry Summers, the Former chief economist of the World Bank and former chief of economic advisory council of president Barack Obama, has said that Pakistan s COVID-19 response is an example for world, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
Larry Summers further stated that if the United States had handled coronavirus pandemic as well as Pakistan then it could have saved 10 trillion dollars.
Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Economic Forum had also termed Pakistan s measures against Coronavirus as exemplary for the world. The World Economic Forum had said that the world should learn from Pakistan
